Well another Friday rolls onto the horizon...
I've yet to return to 'proper' work, my company deciding I need to learn
the art of project management over four wonderful days. You imagine the
come-down after reliving my care-free youth for five days backpacking
through Europe. The highlight of which was obviously seeing the 'Killers'
in concert in Amsterdam - which by the way has to be one of the best
venues in the world. Fantastic acoustics, a top crowd, fantastic music,
AND bartenders who come to YOU with Heineken on tap from their little
backpack thing. Great innovation!
But back to the grind tomorrow, and reality sadly. It seems my washing
machine is some dicey eastern european brand which seems to be slightly
hydrophobic - insisting on depositing most of it's load onto the floor,
and consequently into my neighbour's ceiling. I tell you, this home-owning
lark ain't the party it's cracked up to be!
Have a good weekend, I'm being dragged to a murder-mystery weekend in the
highlands!
